Norman Leopold

A graduate of the University of Illinois, Norman Leopold received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1973 and his Masters of Tax Law from the University of Miami in 1976.  He was the recipient of the Roger Sorino Memorial Award for the Outstanding Senior of the Class of 1973.  As a  law student, he received the  Bar & Gavel Award for service to the law school.

Mr. Leopold specializes in complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions and development.  He represents numerous real estate developers, as well as lenders.

Mr. Leopold also serves as chairman of  the Board of Trustees of the Aventura  Hospital and  Medical Center, having previously served as vice chair.  He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Aventura Health Foundation.

In addition to having served as president of Temple Sinai of North Dade, Mr. Leopold is the past chair of the Dade County Association of Reform Temples, former president of the South Florida Federation of Reform Synagogues and former president of the Southeast U.S. Council of the Union for Reform Judaism, which serves the 100 Reform congregations in the Southeast United States.  He is currently a Vice Chair of the Union for Reform Judaism and a member of its National Executive Committee.  He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Michael Ann Russell Jewish Community Center.  For complete resume, please click here.
